Who is The Runner's Program for?
The Runner's Program was created for beginners and intermediate recreational runners. Our programs are designed to teach you how to run and provide resources to help you become a better runner.
Do I have to have any running experience to join?
No prior running experience required. We start from the basic fundamentals and continue to build. You progress at a pace that works for you.
I'm already a runner. Can The Runner's Program help me?
It depends. If you are looking to improve your running form, technique, strength, or mobility then we definitely have the tools to help you. Many runners struggle because they don't learn the fundamental skills. It's never too late to go back and master the basics. Programs for advanced runners are coming soon!
What will The Runner's Program teach me?
The Runner's Program was created to be an all-inclusive resource. Becoming a good runner is not just about one factor. For example, stretching alone is not likely improve your running. Running requires coordination of multiple elements and our programs include instruction on strength, mobility, flexibility, form, technique, progression, and more.
How long is each workout?
The duration of daily workouts ranges from 10 minutes to 40 minutes. Those that complete the weekly programming in 6-7 days may progress through the program more quickly. However, you can work through the program at your own pace.
I have no running experience but would like to run an upcoming 5K. How long will it take?
With our Beginner's Running Program, you can be running a 5K in as little as 6 weeks. However, keep in mind that everyone is different. Your ability to progress is dependent upon several individual factors. However, our programming is designed to allow you the time to pace yourself as your body needs in order to progress safely.
I have pain when I run. Can The Runner's Program fix this?
Although many runners report a reduction in minor discomforts by improving their running fitness, The Runner's Program is for informational purposes only and is not intended to diagnose or treat any specific injury or aliment. Injuries are multi-factorial and are specific to each individual. Two Runner's may experience similar pain in the same area; however, the cause and treatment of that pain can be drastically different. Participants should consult a medical professional or healthcare provider regarding any potential injuries and prior to beginning this or any other fitness program. Find more information here.
